Alliance Francaise de Trivandrum, Uni – Y and Thanal is organising a variety of programmes as part of the Green Earth Day on 24th October 2009 to celebrate the environment, raise
awareness about current environmental conditions, encourage people to take responsibility for preserving the environment and help build a safer, healthier and cleaner world. It also aims to inform people of ways by which the damages to the ecology can be countered.
The highlight of this day is the screening of the film “HOME” directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, at Tagore Theatre at 3 pm. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion.
