Tvm: Alliance Française de Trivandrum in association with the Embassy of France in India is organizing a Cinéclub, with film screening every last Saturday of the month. It is aimed at providing a platform for film enthusiasts and giving a taste of contemporary French cinema. The inaugural session on February 25, 2012 will have a screening of Changement d'adresse (Change of Address), a film by Emmanuel Mouret at 5 pm.
The 2006 film is a romantic comedy starring Emmanuel Mouret, Frédérique Bel and Fanny Valette and depicts the emotional and professional tribulations of a musician and his roommate. Just moved to Paris, David, a musician, shy and clumsy, falls madly in love with his young student, Julia. He tries everything to seduce her. His room-mate, Anne, provides encouragement, advice, and the console.
Changement d'adresse was nominated for the Tokyo Grand Prix Award at the 2006 Tokyo International Film Festival and the Étoile d'Or Award for the Best Female Newcomer (La révélation féminine) Frédérique Bel in 2007.
