Tvm: Alliance Française de Trivandrum in association with Kerala Balasahitya Institute is presenting ‘Rainbows: An exhibition of illustrations for children’ by three well known children's illustrators T R Rajesh, Gopu Pattithara and Satheesh P K from April 09 to May 08, 2010.
The month long celebration of childhood aimed at portraying the different facets of this epoch - the innocence, wonder, exploration, playfulness and resilience. The exhibition will be inaugurated today by children's writer and illustrator T R Rajesh.
The illustrations capture the ‘essence of growing up’, that widens the horizons of learning not only through school and text books, but also the world around which is an integral part of development. The exhibition also attempts to bring out the children from the increasing consumption of electronic media and instil the joys of exploration, creativity and imagination.
Entry is free to the exhibition at the Art gallery in Alliance Française de Trivandrum from 10 am to 6 pm.
