Tvm: Alliance Française de Trivandrum is hosting a ‘very original’ music concert by Monsieur Untel at Vyloppilly Samskriti Bhavan on January 13, 2012 at 6.30 pm. Monsieur Untel represents the new generation of French musicians who tries to give a different perspective to the ordinary things in the world. His songs are satirical expressions of the modern world and its ways, which he equates to the animal world.
Monsieur Untel is a Parisian poet and guitar-player. He is also a video-artist and an actor.
He will present his songs, for the first time in India, in a special concert with his friend, the singer and percussionist Walid Walead. These songs talk about animals, cosmonauts and other cosmic-adventurer, captured in different space-times, falling in love, playing chess, taking baths and eating invisible flowers. The concert is also a combination of audio and video elements.
There is also an opportunity for music enthusiasts to interact with Monsieur Untel on January 12 at Alliance Française de Trivandrumat 5 pm. Those interested should register by January 9. Entry is free for both events.
