Tvm: The third edition of Kerala Gem & Jewellery Show (KGJS 2010) will be held from December 4-6, 2010 at Kochi. KGJS is presented by the Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Kerala and organized by The Art of Jewellery, a leading Jewellery Magazine in association with World Gold Council, All Kerala Gold & Silver Merchants Association and Jewellery Manufacturers Association.
Over 200 exhibitors from India and abroad will be showcasing their latest designs and products. The show coincides with the Grand Kerala Shopping Festival to be held all over Kerala from December 01, 2010 to January 15, 2011. It is conceived as a perfect platform for jewellery manufacturers, retailers, artisans, wholesalers and exporters to interact, network, source the latest designs and enhance their knowledge and further their business prospects.
Announcing the launch, State Minister of Industries & Commerce Shri Elamaram Kareem said, “KGJS is an ideal opportunity to showcase to the rest of the world our state’s rich tradition of jewellery and expertise in manufacturing jewellery. The show also gives a chance for our manufacturers and traders to understand new trends and designs prevailing in other parts of the country and it will help Kerala’s jewellery manufacturers to stand up to the competition from foreign companies”.
