Bangalore: The seminar on ‘Using Data to Manage Maintenance’, organised by MPulse, a division of the Technopark based InApp, at Bangalore last week evoked much interest among attendees about Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The event was led by Steve Brous, President & CEO of MPulse Maintenance Software USA.

The seminar was an initiative by MPulse Software India (MSI) as part of their series of presentations on transforming available maintenance data into a profit centre by learning to manage maintenance operations more efficiently, boost productivity and cuts costs thus benefiting an organization’s bottom line.

The session by Steve Brous focused on driving home the concept of leveraging the huge volume of maintenance data available with organizations into a major profit centre. Steve’s session was followed by a brief presentation on MPulse CMMS by Punnoose Pachikara, Manager - Business Development, MSI.

Jayakrishnan MC, VP - Development, InApp, who is running MSI operations said, “The attendees were able to relate the facts presented by Steve to the maintenance data available in their respective organisations. Almost all of them said they were fortunate to have attended the session.”

Key decision makers from The Leeela, ITC Windsor, Kotak Urja, Forum Mall, Colliers International, Geneva Industries, Karnataka Soaps & Detergents, were among those who attended the seminar.

MSI is a Joint Venture between InApp Information Technologies and MPulse Maintenance Software, Eugene, Oregon, USA. MPulse Software India brings to Asia, North America’s leading MPulse CMMS, which was also recently launched in India. MPulse include features for Work Order Management, Request Management, Scheduled Maintenance, Asset Management, Inventory Management and Preventive Maintenance.
