Kochi: Keralastrikers.in, the official website of the Kerala celebrity team, Kerala Strikers, was launched by veteran actor, producer and director, Thyagarajan at Kochi on January 03, 2012. The Kerala Strikers, a team of Malayalam starlets has been promoted by super star Mohanlal, former actress Lizzy Priyadarshan and business tycoon from Chennai, P M Shaji in association with AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists).

The website is being supported and marketed by metromatinee.com, one of the leading names in the field of online entertainment in India. The website provides all the information regarding fixtures and results. Wall papers can be downloaded and the gallery will provide all the latest visuals of matches played and photographs of the stars. Details of all the players and officials of the team are available in the site as well.

The theme song and music video of the team was also launched at the same function by Indian cricketer S Sreesanth who handed over the CD to Malayalam actor Prithviraj. The theme song of Kerala Strikers can be downloaded from the web site. The music video is also available online.

The team, captained by super star Mohanlal, are newcomers to the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) and will play their first match on January 21 at Bangalore. Indrajith, Prithviraj, Kunchacko Boban, Asif Ali and Bineesh Kodiyeri are among the players.
