Dubai: Keeping alive hopes of reviving the Smart City Kochi project, the Government has started informal moves to resume talks with Tecom, the promoters of the project. According to sources, the Director Board meeting and talks might be held immediately after the Gulf IT Exhibition (GITEX) which concludes today.

Both Tecom and the Kerala Government are taking part in GITEX which is the biggest IT exhibition in West Asia where IT majors across the world showcase their potentials. It is expected that informal talks will be held between the government and Tecom on the sidelines of the event. But IT department officials said that there would not be any talks between the government and Tecom in Dubai.
