Tvm: The Group of Technopark Companies (GTech) is organising a health awareness week from April 05 to 09, 2010 in association with Technopark and KIMS. Tech Life 2010 involves a series of activities aimed at ensuring the well being of the IT Professionals in Technopark.
The Tech Life programme was inaugurated by Padmashree Dr. Vijayaraghavan today. Inaugurating the programme Dr. Vijayaraghavan exhorted the Technopark community to adopt a healthy life style and strive for a work life balance. A website dedicated to the event was launched by the Mervin Alexander, CEO, Technopark.
The programme includes interaction with the doctors from KIMS, a Session with India’s renowned Psychologist, Dr. Santhosh Babu on April 07, 2010 at Travancore Hall from 4.00 pm and an Entertainment programme by Tamil Playback Singer, Karthik on April 08, 2010 at Sangam open air auditorium from 6.30 pm.
Every day has been given a particular theme like Heart Day, Gastro Day, Mind Day, Hypertension Day and Diabetes Day and specialist doctors in these areas will be available for consultation from 12 noon till 2 pm at the Atrium of Nila and Bhavani. The doctors will also help the IT community to cope with stress, engage in healthy eating habits and sessions on how to be physically active at the workplace.
