InApp expands operations to Japan

Tvm: InApp, a leading software services company that has its India ODC in Technopark has announced plans to start its subsidiary in Japan - InApp Japan K K. The new base at Misuzugaoka Aobaku near Yokohama and Tokyo will offer software services such as software development, testing, migration, porting, maintenance, multimedia, smartphone solutions and others to SMEs in Japan.

Building on the company’s decade-long operations in the US and India, InApp hopes to increase their presence in the Asia-Pacific region through the new company. Incorporation processes are going on and are slated to be completed soon. Hideto Morishita, an IBM Japan veteran will head InApp’s Japan operations. The InApp India Team will extend their support and backup to the Japanese base to help customers reap the technical expertise and experience of InApp India.

In a release, Hideto Morishita said, “We are extremely pleased to open InApp Japan. The benefits provided through this new facility will allow us to continue to enhance the skills and offerings that we currently provide for customers in Japan.”

Amarnath Raja, CEO, InApp India said, “Opening the Japanese subsidiary is an exciting milestone for InApp. We think this is the most appropriate time to move into Japan given the changing business climate in the country. Our strategy will be to leverage the skills in both the US and the Japanese companies to bring out truly global solutions.”

On this occasion, along with Hideto Morishita and Amarnath Raja, Suchithra RV, AVP, InApp was in Japan to start operations of InApp Japan and meet with customers there.
