Tvm: Tragedy struck the week long cultural celebrations at Technopark, Trivandrum when Bhuvana Sundar, a software engineer from IBS died while participating in the rally, the most popular event of Tech-a-Break.

Bhuvana collapsed while performing ‘pulikalli’. He could not be saved even though he was rushed to a nearby hospital. Bhuvana, a native of Tamil Nadu, has been working with IBS for the last couple of years.

In a statement, the IBS Management and Staff expressed their grief and condolences, “We are shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic and untimely demise of Bhuvana Sundar. IBS has lost a young and promising professional and his colleagues, a wonderful friend and human being. We pray that his family finds courage and strength to tide over this period of grief. May his soul rest in peace".

Meanwhile M Vasudevan, Senior Manager (BD), Technopark said, “Due to the sad demise of fellow Technoparkian, Mr.Bhuvana Sunder of IBS, there will not be any celebrations and programmes today.” The competitions scheduled for today would be held over the coming days and Tech-a-Break will conclude on February 27, 2010 with the Prize distribution ceremony.
