UST Global is playing host to the second edition of Retail Razzmatazz, the annual retail event this week at its Technopark office. Customer Loyalty is the theme for this year’s event which got underway today and will go on to 20 November 2009. Aimed at pioneering retail thought leadership and

dissemination of retail related knowledge, the first edition of the event was held last year at same venue. UST has been partnering with various Global 1000 retail clients in this regard. One of the Key Note address today was on ‘Smart Stores’ by Jose Lazarus, VP, Oracle

A panel discussion is also planned on the November 20 at 2 30 pm at Zenith Hall, Bhavani at Technopark. The topic for the panel discussion would be ‘How are customer loyalty initiatives in retail getting enhanced / redefined / influenced by Social media / commerce?” Key panelists would include Arun Gupta , Group CIO, Shoppers Stop, Marsha Blakeslee, GM, Industry Practices, UST – Global and Harish Bijoor, Brand-expert and CEO, Harish Bijoor Consults Inc, Bangalore. M G Radhakrishnan, Resident Editor, India Today, will be the moderator of the session.

An official with UST said that the Retail Razzmatazz will serve as a platform to showcase, learn, share and build thought leadership in the retail space. “For the world, it is a forum to understand our capabilities, share industry experiences and the evolving future in retail. In alignment with this we have organized events such as whitepaper presentations, innovative product development contest, best practices exchange, panel discussion, guest lectures and quiz,” the official added. There are concurrent events in Trivandrum and Chennai during the week.
