Accentia Technologies, a Technopark-based player in the Healthcare Receivables Cycle Management (HRCM) segment, has kicked off operations from the United Kingdom. The new UK expansion comes as part of Accentia’s aim to tap the high potential markets in Northern Ireland, England and
Scotland. The company has been delivering services to healthcare organizations in these markets through its partner organizations for the past two years, but through the new initiative, the company intends to aggressively market its services across NHS and Private Hospitals in the UK region.
According to Pradeep Viswambharan, CEO, Accentia, “the current global scenario opens up unlimited opportunities to Accentia as every healthcare provider is aiming at cutting costs and we have ready made solutions to cater to every such organizations’ needs through our tried and tested process off-shoring and integration solutions. Above all, two strong currencies, Pound Sterling and Euro in the new region of operation will provide a greater balance in its forex earnings”.
The company, engaged in the areas of Medical documentation, Medical Coding, Billing, Receivables management and Integration and restructuring solutions to the healthcare service organizations, has units in Portland, Ft. Lauderdale, New Jersey in the US, RAK in the UAE, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Trivandrum, Kochi and Bhubaneswar in India.
The company would soon be setting up back offices at its own SEZ land at Visakhapatnam and another unit in Kochi SEZ to cater to its European clientele, said a company official.It is also learnt that Accentia is also in talks with a handful of Philippines-based companies specialized in UK/Ireland HRCM process outsourcing for a possible take over to mobilize skilled resources for the immediate future.
With total revenues of Rs 238 crore in the year ended March 31, 2009, Accentia Technologies has been able to enable clients to maximize returns by reducing its cost and revenue cycle by implementing customized processes onsite and off shore operations, the official added.
