Tvm: SeaView Support Systems, the Technopark based ITES Company celebrated this Christmas with a difference. About 30 employees of SeaView paid a visit to Sahajeevan, a charitable institution at Kaniyapuram on the outskirts of Trivandrum, catering to the needs of mentally challenged children on December 20, 2010.

The visit was undertaken by Reach, the CSR wing of the company. This is the seventh social outreach programme of Reach since its inception earlier this year in March 2010. Sahajeevan is a day-care centre where these children are under the care of special educators who look after their special needs. The employees had an interaction with the parents of the children and got a first-hand account of the diverse problems these children face in society. They also interacted with the children.

Binu, Director of Sahajeevan accompanied the employees on a tour of the premises and explained about the various activities being undertaken to keep the children engaged. The children and the employees had lunch together. A decorated Christmas tree was set up in the premises and a huge cake cut by one of children apart from distributing sweets. SeaView also pledged financial help on a monthly basis for a period of one year by agreeing to sponsor the expenses of a special educator. It was a Christmas which the employees of SeaView will cherish and memories of it will linger for a long time.
