Tvm: The Quarterfinal League of Goal ‘10, the football tournament for the Technopark companies hosted by UST Global, is set to take place on August 28 & 29 and September 4, 2010. The eight teams which have qualified for the quarters are Infosys, Tata Elxsi, NeST, RR Donnelly, Lino Computers, M-Squared and UST Global - A & B. 21 teams from 19 companies had participated in the qualifying rounds.
At the individual level, Hari from Infosys is leading the competition for Golden Boot award with the highest number of goals in group matches till date. The 2009 Golden Boot winner, Najeev Nambiar from UST Global is in the second place.
The incessant rains over the weekends have not dampened the participation of IT professionals from the game as they kept the show going on. The matches are held at the LNCPE stadium near Technopark at Trivandrum. The Semi-Final would be held on September 5 followed by the finals on September 11, 2010.
