E-mail

Tvm: Global IT company Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) and Ernst & Young (E&Y), the leading consultancy and advisory firm, today signed an agreement with Infopark to expand their operations in Kerala. This will be the second centre for both the companies. While CTS has a Development Centre in Kochi, E&Y has its Global Shared Services Centre in Technopark Trivandrum.

The lease agreement for space was signed today at Thiruvananthapuram by the representatives of these companies with Binu Pazoor, who also holds the additional charge of Infopark CEO, in the presence of Chief Minister Shri V S Achuthanandan. Cognizant has signed up for about one lakh sq. ft. and hopes to double its present workforce of 1,100 in Kerala. Ernst & Young has signed up for about 25,000 sq. ft. Both centres will come up in the Athulya building in the Infopark campus at Kochi.

Interacting with the media, the CM said that in the last five years the LDF Government has been successful in bringing global IT companies to Kerala.
