Kochi: In yet another stopgap arrangement, Binu Pazhoor, CEO of Cyberpark has been given the additional charge of Infopark also, till a full time CEO is announced. It was in November 2010 that Ishita Roy IAS had taken over as the Infopark CEO.
Ishita, who thus became the first lady CEO of an IT Park in Kerala, is the Director of Kerala State IT Mission and also holds the additional charge of Secretary, Environment Department, Government of Kerala. She was given the addition charge of Infopark when Siddhartha Bhattacharya, the CEO of Infopark from April 2008 left for greener pastures.
The Kerala IT Department had advertised for a CEO for Infopark in September 2010 and the selection process is supposed to be in the final stages. The Infopark CEO is responsible for the Infoparks at Kochi, Koratty and Cherthala and also the upcoming Infopark at Ambalapuzha.
