UST Global wins KMA Excellence Award for Technology Innovation

Kochi: UST Global won Excellence Awards 2011 in the Technology Innovation - Implemented and Initiated category organised by the Kerala Management Association (KMA). The Award was announced during the Valedictory function of the 31st Annual KMA Convention held in Kochi last week. UST Global submitted three innovations, all conceived and developed at The Apple Tree, UST’s innovation gym under the category, Technology Innovations.

RapidValue announces aggressive expansion plans

Kochi: RapidValue Solutions, the Infopark Kochi based mobility solutions provider is planning a major expansion over the next 9-12 months. The company also plans to launch its new facility at Leela Infopark, Kochi by March 2012. The expansion will give a boost to Rapid Value’s ambitious growth plans enabling it to strengthen its relationships with clients and partners, and to provide solutions in high growth areas such as information management, mobile application development and big data. These decisions were taken at their Board Meeting held last week.

Vigilance Court seeks details of Infopark CEO’s appointment

Kochi: The Thrissur Vigilance Court has issued a notice to the Kerala Government’s Law Officer seeking details of the appointment of Gijo Joseph as the CEO of Infopark, Kochi. The court issued the order on November 03, 2011 while considering a petition alleging irregularities and political intervention in the CEO’s appointment. Gijo appointment was announced on May 10, 2011, at the fag end of the LDF government, with just four days remaining for the Assembly election results.

Experion Technologies on expansion mode, to increase headcount

Ushus Technologies expand operations to Infopark Kochi

Kochi: Ushus Technologies, the software division of Accel Transmatic Ltd., the Chennai headquartered Software and Media Services Company, has opened its second software development centre in Kerala at the L&T SEZ in Infopark, Kochi. The new centre will augment its existing facility at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram.

Infopark finally gets a full time CEO, Gigo Joseph

Kochi: Eight months after advertising for a Chief Executive Officer and after six months of stopgap arrangements, the Infopark has finally got a full time CEO. Gigo Joseph is the new CEO of Infoparks, Kochi and Koratty. He will also be responsible for the upcoming Infoparks at Cherthala and Ambalapuzha.

Cognizant, Ernst & Young to expand operations in Kerala

Tvm: Global IT company Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) and Ernst & Young (E&Y), the leading consultancy and advisory firm, today signed an agreement with Infopark to expand their operations in Kerala. This will be the second centre for both the companies. While CTS has a Development Centre in Kochi, E&Y has its Global Shared Services Centre in Technopark Trivandrum.
