Kannur is expected to witness huge infrastructure development over the next 10 years and at no doubt will be one of the most sought-after destinations for any kind of investment”.

Cyberpark Kannur will come up on 25 acres of Special Economic Zone (SEZ) notified land in Eramom village near Taliparamba. The master plan for the IT park and the design of the first IT Building with a built-up area of 50,000 sq. ft has been finalised. The park is expected to provide direct employment to about 20,000 IT professionals and the indirect employment will be about four times this number.

Cyberparks are being inaugurated in every district of kerala, A remarkable thing to be noted, especially when these are being done when the CPM led Left Govt is ruling over the state, I was thinking of the situation when the same Leftist were ruling in 1996 when Hitech city which is now in Hyderabad was proposed to start in Kerala, and Mr.Nayanar the then CM of Kerala refused to the project by saying Computerization was against their party lines. But Time has proved and they could realise that It is an indispensable affair. Best wishes for all IT parks as it provides employment for thousands of professionals.
